This is a Soviet device for terrain observation installed in armored vehicles and equipped with a heated glass. It’s housed in a metal case which contains two prisms for observing the terrain.
While not particularly complex, it’s a reliable piece of equipment from the past century’s armored vehicles.
For us, it’s a wonderful exhibit and an opportunity for creativity in various styles of its use by the artisans of our project.
