In our collection of trophies, we have tactical knee and elbow pads from the Russian army. They were introduced in the Russian army in 2015 as part of the Ratnik infantry combat system. This system was first introduced in 2011 and gained attention during the annexation of Crimea by the Russian military. By 2015, it began to be officially issued to the Russian army.
Ratnik is a source of pride for the occupiers. They consider it to be the best combat system in the world because it was developed by dozens of military-industrial enterprises in Russia and supposedly takes into account all aspects of modern warfare.
The standard knee and elbow pads are part of the military gear kit.
They were imported into Ukraine in violation of rules and were confiscated by brave soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Now, they are a part of the great history of the Ukrainian people’s fight for freedom and independence during the years 2022-2023.
