In our trophy collection, we have a body armor called “Monolithic Module” from the company NPO “Special Materials”, which, according to the developers, provides protection at the level of Br4. It can withstand hits from 7.62 and 5.45 caliber AK-47 rounds. It consists of two large plates and two small side plates, weighing about 14 kg.
In the manufacturer’s publicly available video, the plates withstand everything, but how it will perform in real life is unknown. The carrier itself looks somewhat low-quality.
The body armor is in good condition, washed and no longer has the smell of the “Russian world”. It was imported into Ukraine in violation of the rules and was confiscated by brave soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Now it is a part of the great history of the Ukrainian people’s fight for freedom and independence in the years 2022-2023.
