RPG-30 «Hook» The RPG-30 “Hook” (GRAU index – 7P53) is a 105 mm caliber rocket-propelled grenade designed to combat all modern main battle tanks equipped with both dynamic and active protection systems. It is for one-time use.
It features an innovative bicaliber design for handheld anti-tank grenade launchers that uses a target simulator to overcome active defense.
Developed by the designers of the NPO “Basalt,” it was adopted by the Russian army in 2012 and is a fairly modern development.
The principle of operation of this grenade launcher is as follows: first, one rocket flies out of a small tube, and then a second one, which is designed to hit the target, flies out of a large tube.
The only drawback of this grenade launcher, as some write, is its small range. The distance of 200 meters to the target is quite small, unlike, for example, the Javelin, which operates at much greater distances. The cost of this grenade launcher is its advantage, as it costs only $1,500-2,000.
This grenade launcher is quite rare, and not many of them have been produced. Russians say that this grenade launcher is the scariest and most modern grenade launcher on the battlefield.
The grenade launcher tube is not dangerous, as it has already been tested by our soldiers in combat and was handed over to us for transformation into art. We can create an interesting piece for you.
