In this case, the occupant was wearing an old but quite reliable British MK 6 helmet, which was in service with the British Army from 1986 to 2009. It was replaced by the MK 7 helmet. It's not unlikely that this helmet was repurposed for use by the occupant. Britain has been sending such helmets to Ukraine since 2015, when Russia began its invasion of Ukraine.
