This is our Ukrainian anti-tank missile system “Corsar” developed by the design bureau “Luch” with a caliber of 107mm. It was adopted by the Ukrainian army in 2017. It is designed to engage stationary and moving armored targets with any type of armor, including tanks, APCs, fast assault boats, as well as small targets such as bunkers, helicopters, and drones. The range of the anti-tank missile system is up to 2.5 km, and the laser-guided missile is guided. According to military experts, the cost of the “Corsar” is three times lower than foreign analogs, at around 130,000 USD, and the missiles cost four times less, at 20,000 USD.
The main feature of the “Corsar” is that despite its size and weight, it has a semi-automatic laser-guidance system with high immunity to active interference. The anti-tank missiles of the “Corsar” complex do not require target illumination by a laser beam and are guided by orientation in the information field of the laser control channel using a receiver located in the tail section of the missile.
This is a very powerful weapon of Ukraine, which our soldiers actively use in the battlefields against Russian invaders. The “Corsar” has destroyed a lot of Russian equipment and does not stop.
The “Corsar” tube does not pose any danger, as it has already been tested by our soldiers on the front line in combat operations and has been handed over to us for conversion into art.
