GRAU index 6B48-2 6B48-2 Helmet from “Ratnik-ZK” kit.
We still don’t know whether in 2014 or 2016 the Russian army began receiving sets of equipment for tank crews and armored vehicle crews from Armakom under the name “Ratnik 6b48-ZK” (ZeKa). The Russian military holds their development of the “Ratnik” soldier system in high regard, considering it to be their super modern creation. They even plan to create exoskeletons in the future. Let it be so, for the second army in the world it should be appropriate.
In our case, we have this new type of helmet from this kit, a little beaten up on the battlefield with a detached cord. It is probably not for the soldiers of the future, although if you compare it to the 1934 helmet with the 2012 Kevlar overlay… I think that the old combination of helmet and Kevlar overlay is still more reliable than this helmet.
As an art object, it is perfect. Such helmets are quite rare and interesting exhibits.
