Michael is an archangel in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. The supreme commander (archangelus) of God’s army against evil forces, which he defeats in battle. In Christian tradition, he is the protector, patron of soldiers and knights. He is depicted as a warrior defeating a dragon or demon, with a sword, flag or scales.
Michael is the patron saint of the Ukrainian army and Ukraine, the capital of Ukraine, depicted on the ancient coat of arms of Kyiv and the banners of the Cossack army, with which the soldiers went into battle against evil spirits and enemies of Ukraine.
It is created on the basis of a 100mm casing from an anti-tank shell used when shooting from the T12 “Rapier” gun.
